UNS S32750 tubes are widely used in offshore oil and gas, chemical plants, desalination, and power generation. They are also common in pulp and paper mills, marine systems, and pressure piping where high corrosion resistance is required.
UNS S32750 is a super duplex stainless steel. It has high chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen content for excellent strength and corrosion resistance. Its dual-phase structure makes it ideal for harsh chemical and seawater applications.
The cast equivalent of UNS S32750 is generally known as ASTM A890 Grade 6A. It offers similar corrosion resistance and strength for cast components in chemical and marine service.
It has higher strength and superior resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. It outperforms 316 and standard duplex in seawater, chemicals, and high-pressure systems.
S32760 has slightly more chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen than S32750, giving slightly higher corrosion resistance. Both are super duplex steels, but S32760 handles very aggressive environments better.
S32750 typically contains 24–26% chromium, 6–7% molybdenum, 3–5% nickel, 0.2% nitrogen, and small amounts of manganese, silicon, and iron balance. This mix ensures high strength and excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.
